My daughter is a rising junior at Azusa Pacific University near Pasadena, Calif. During a course last year in film production, she was assigned to make a short film. She wrote it and directed. The assignment required that no dialogue be used to advance the plot.
Her school is offering a $1,000 scholarship to the student whose film gets the most 'Favorite' votes on YouTube. I am hoping that you might be willing to watch her film, hit that Favorite button, and maybe forward this to someone else who could help. The film is only five minutes long.
Here's how to help: Go to the link below, which will take you to the film on YouTube. Sign in, or if you do not have a YouTube account, click on Sign Up, a button in the upper right corner of the screen. It is free to sign up. You must be logged in to vote.
Once you're logged in, view the film, then hit the 'Favorite' button below the film screen. The 'Favorite' button has the red heart on it. Your vote will not help unless you hit that button. She's had hundreds of views, but only 125 'Favorites' so far, because I think people aren't signing in or they're giving her a star rating instead. She's had votes from Russia, Spain, Venezuela, Brazil and the UK, in addition to the U.S. and Canada.
I hope you enjoy her film! Here's the link: http://bit.ly/nvXf
Thank you so much!
