A teen [boy or girl] who is walking down the sidewal on the bund, music is playing in the background and you see him/her trying to get the music out of her head, this is indicated by him/her hitting her head gently with her hands. He/she has glasses on which is the cause of the music, glasses that are heirlooms. The music that they hear is heard in their head and only by them. This music tells the future and predicts when something bad is going to happen or if something will happen [if it's bad then the music is dramatic, good then it's happy or cheerful.. all are intrumental]. The protagonist starts to hear dramatic music building up over days, he/she knows something big is going to happen, then while cleaning his/her glasses they break by pressing to hard. after that the music stops.. he/she realizes that the music was caused from this heirloom and now has a misson to find out what is going to happen. - DON'T KNOW THE BIG CONFLICT -. problem is solved but he/she has now imbraced that he/she doesn't need to know what's goign to happen. you see a close of shot of them smiling while reading the paper about preventing an accident or whatever they stopped. then you start to hear music again, so the audience thinks that he/she has the power again but then it turns out it to be an ipod. the camera pans up and you see him/her looking straight in the camera holding the ear phones, smiling then puts them in his/her ear and walk forward towards the camera.

The main character finds a pair of glasses in a park. He takes it and puts it on, and as expected, nothing spectacular happens. As he starts leaving the park, he starts hearing music in his head. As the song reaches the climax, a woman has her purse robbed and the thief runs off. The main character realizes that the music allows him to know when something tragic is about to happen. Later that day, the music starts again, and he notices that a pedestrian is about to be hit by a car. He saves the pedestrian. Later, another person gets hit by a car, only this time there was no music so the main character couldn't save him. The next day, there is a low volume song playing gaining momentum in the main character's head. The music slowly builds up and he knows something bad is going to happen. But bfore the song reaches the peak, the glasses break after the main character slips and hits the pavement. An out-of-control car hits the main character and he dies.

Some time later, a man finds a watch (which belonged to the main character) on the sidewalk, left there after the main character was hit by the car. He puts it on and starts hearing music.

The film opens to an unfocused image, with a cacophony of music playing in the background. It brings a teen aged boy's perspective into focus, as he paces down a busy street. This seems to be a typical day for him. He is pacing back and forth, not looking for anything in particular - a bystander may think he's nervous by his tendencies. His eyes, behind ancient looking glasses, dart back and forth - they seem to look over everybody. Just as the audience may begin to tire by this seemingly pointless image, he breaks into a brisk walk. The cacophony of sound that the film opened to is replayed as he passes people, but one "soundtrack" overpowers all the others. We see a girl looking through her bag, unaware of a seedy looking man a few meters away, ready to grab her stuff. Our protagonist leaps between the man and the girl just in time - the girl looks up surprised and disgusted and walks away. The man runs. The soundtrack decrescendos. The boy continues to work his "beat" on this street - saving someone from getting hit by a car, moving a "trippable" object out of the way, etc. He's sort of like a mediocre superhero. He goes to a small cafe for lunch, where his problem overwhelms the audience. He's attracted to the waitress and can't help but hear a cheesy love ballad in his head while he orders his food. The kids at the table next to him drive him insane with their upbeat, bubbly soundtracks. He interacts with one of the boys, who introduces himself asks why he's "always here alone". Our hero responds sarcastically, "A superhero always eats alone." The kids looks up at him seriously and says, "Cool." A man proposes nearby and the teenager nearly gets sick from the happiness of the soundtrack. In midst of this, he has pulled out a piece of paper. He checks three ticks - (#42. Save pedestrian from car. #18. Stop thief. #96. Protect the clumsy.) - and as he scans the list, he realizes there's only one box left to be ticked. This makes him a little anxious. The audience does not see what that final "goal" is.

He goes home to a depressingly bare apartment - the only notable props are a number of photographs of men wearing the same glasses (his father, grandfather, uncle, etc.) He goes to his room (that has pictures of superheros, fittingly), takes off his glasses and goes to sleep.

The next morning, he puts them on to hear a new soundtrack beginning to crescendo. It is rather ominous. He goes to another street, but no one seems to need his help. The sounds continue to crescendo. A group of teenagers pass him, a girl recognizes him and asks him to come along. He's about to agree, but her soundtrack is so overwhelming that he is forced to say no. She leaves and he is alone again, the buzzing in his head growing more and more insistent. He talks aloud to himself, refusing to do the final task. "With great power comes great responsibility"? He heads home again - passing by the teenagers he saw earlier. The scene fades to him lying awake in bed, the glasses still on. At this point, the noise is demanding. He takes the glasses off angrily.... yet, the noise persists. This is his final task and it must be performed. He puts the glasses on - the sound is still there. Furiously, he reaches a decision. He gets out of bed and the scene fades to...

The same location of the opening scene, filmed from behind the boy (use same shot). Our hero passes by a newspaper with a barrage of headlines - ANONYMOUS HERO DOES ___ - and smiles. There is music in the background - we expect to see his glasses. Instead, we see earphones dangling from his ears. He passes by the cafe he was at in the first scene - where the little boys are playing again. He takes a glasses case out of his pocket and places it on an empty table, a note attached, addressed to the boy who spoke to him earlier. He passes by the group of boys, taps the one on the shoulder and points to the glasses case. He smiles and walks away. The closing shot is the boy opening the glasses case and putting on the glasses. The cacophony begins again, as we fade to black.

object: "lucky" shirt
locations: house/downtown

lonely boy is searching through his dead father's things and finds a shirt that he wears. it changes the way people act around him - and then things go bad.

I think I still like the glasses idea...

We have everything:

Inciting incident - finding the glasses
Rising action + threshold guardians - helping people out of tragedies
Climax - buildup of sound leading to incident
Falling action + denoument - someone else finds the glasses (or another object)

Conflict: Man vs. Fate (main character can't save everyone... he saves someone)
